PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a winding rubber sleeve with which shape defects generated on the inner peripheral part of a wound metallic strip is prevented. SOLUTION: A hollow part having a constant cross-sectional shape which is extended in parallel to the axial direction of the rubber sleeve is provided inside the rubber sleeve, the top side of the cross-sectional shape of the hollow part is made into a circular-arc shape, that circular arc and the circular arc of the outer peripheral part of the rubber sleeve are taken as concentric circles orthogonal to the center axis of the rubber sleeve. The internal pressure of the hollow part is made adjustable and, preferably, an air tube is embedded in the hollow part and, moreover, the air pressure (p) inside the hollow part is made adjustable in the range of 0≤p≤100 kPa.
