The present invention relates to an arc discharge lamp device for vehicles and, more particularly, to a high/low system which can freely irradiate a high/low beam of an arc discharge lamp for vehicles. The system comprises a stabilization unit, a high/low detection unit, a motor control unit, a motor power control unit, a motor driving unit, and a lamp moving unit. In the present invention, many advantages are provided by the high/low system that has a robust structure against vibration during a drive by minimizing variable parts, smoothly varies an arc discharge lamp without impact, has a structure capable of a faster and more reliable conversion between a high beam and a low beam by minimizing moving distance by use of straight-line motion of the arc discharge lamp by a motor, and simplifies work to replace an existing halogen lamp with the arc discharge lamp. |
