PURPOSE: An SMS telephone system having an individual SMS message transmission function is provided to retrieve a specific portable telephone number by using an additional ID number signal included in an SMS message received when a user is absent, and to transmit a received message to the retrieved telephone number, thereby confirming various messages at any place. CONSTITUTION: An interface(3) interfaces a call signal or SMS data. A data signal processor(4) modulates/demodulates the SMS data. A memory(6) includes the SMS data, and stores other processing data of an SMS telephone(5). A cellular phone number register(7) registers a cellular phone number in accordance with an additional ID number. A controller(8) retrieves the cellular phone number pre-registered in the cellular phone register(7) by using a receiver parameter signal received through the interface(3), controls a transmission function of the SMS data received to the telephone number, and overall controls functions of the SMS telephone(5).
