PURPOSE: A method and a device for continuous recording of an optical recorder is provided to realize the continuous recording from an area next a normally recorded area in the case of unexpected power-off. CONSTITUTION: A device for continuous recording of an optical recorder includes a playing part and a recording part provided in the optical recorder for playing information and recording the information played from the playing part simultaneously. In the case of power-off, a recording control part reads out information on an area normally recorded before the power-off and playing area information corresponding thereto from the recording part. The read information is stored to a storing part.
