PURPOSE: A picture communication device is provided to match the line of vision of the other party with the line of a caller by placing a camera in the center of a display. CONSTITUTION: A display(37) displays a picture of the other party and a picture of a caller selectively or at the same time. A cable(36) is fixed on one side of the display and is formed of a transparent material to prevent hindrance in watching the display. A camera(35) connected to the cable is placed in the center of the display for taking a photograph of the caller to be transmitted to the other party. An absorption plate is attached to the rear surface of the camera to freely place the camera on any part of the display.
