<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing machine which has a simplified structure resulting in reduced labor and time for assembly and adjustment of the machine and in stable provision of a printed matter of high quality, and to provide a printing method by the printing machine. <P>SOLUTION: In the printing machine equipped with a photoreceptor drum 11, an intermediate transfer drum 12 and a backup drum 13, the photoreceptor drum 11 and the backup drum 13 are respectively rotatably fixed at a predetermined position of a machine main body 10, and the intermediate transfer drum 12 is allowed to get close to and to be away from the photoreceptor drum 11 and the backup drum 13 and also is allowed to press them. The positional relationship of the photoreceptor drum 11 with a plotting device is held constant and its structure is made simple, so that the printed matter of the high quality is stably obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
