PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clock oscillation circuit by which low-voltage operation is allowed, power consumption is reduced, and oscillation start time is shortened. SOLUTION: An oscillator 1 consisting of crystal or ceramics is connected to a first inverter 5, a second inverter 6, and a feedback resistor 2 in parallel. The first inverter 5 and the second inverter 6 are operated before oscillation start so as to shorten oscillation start time. Operation of the second inverter 6 is suspended after oscillation start so as to reduce current consumption. The second inverter 6 is not connected to transistors 7-10 used in output between power voltage and ground voltage in series like a clocked inverter.
