PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set the start instructions of speech recognition of an agent device.

SOLUTION: A scenario editor device is equipped with a function for setting whether the instructions of speech recognition is automatically started. Further, the agent device is equipped with a function of starting the speech recognition without letting a driver as a user instruct a trigger for starting the speech recognition (pressing a recognition start button) according to the instructions whether or not the speech recognition which is shown in the scenario data generated by the scenario editor. Consequently, omitted is a step of equipment operation such that the driver as the user presses the speech recognition start button when answering a question in an anthropomorphic character-based conversation.
