<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass foam structure obtained by uniting two or more types of caliper, complicated shape or different properties and to provide a method for manufacturing a glass foam structure having a glass layer without pore controlled to a desired thickness on a surface. <P>SOLUTION: The glass foam laminated structure is manufactured by steps of (1) providing a glass foam material layer on a surface of a glass foam molding, baking, foaming, uniting the layer with the glass foam molding, and integrating, (2) providing the glass foam material layer between glass foam moldings I and II, baking, foaming, uniting the glass foams I and II, and uniting them, and (3) providing a non-form glass powder composition layer on a surface of the glass foam molding, baking, forming non-foam glass layer, uniting it on the surface, and integrating it. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
