PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new dye composition dyeing human keratin fiber and successively and easily discoloring a dyed color without using any other dye. SOLUTION: The dye composition is applied to dyeing the human keratin fiber especially the hair. The composition contains at least one compound selected from chromoionophore and fluoroionophore and a cosmetic additive except water. The method for applying a compound selected from chromoionophore and fluoroionophore as a direct dye coloring human keratin fiber is provided.
