PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion apparatus capable of easily and rapidly grasping an abnormality code composed of a plurality of digits. SOLUTION: This combustion apparatus is provided with an abnormality display lamp 71 disposed in a body case 11 of the combustion apparatus to display the kind of detected abnormality of the combustion apparatus, and a control device for controlling the blink mode of the abnormality display lamp 71 according to the kind of abnormality. A code specifying means is provided for specifying the abnormality code corresponding to the kind of the detected abnormality, out of a set of abnormality codes having the digit number with two digits or more. The abnormality display lamp 71 is composed of a plurality of digit display lamps 72, 73 corresponding to each digit of the specified abnormality code. The control device blinks the digit display lamps 72, 73 corresponding to each digit in a blink pattern which expresses the numeric value indicated by each digit of the specified abnormality code.
