PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of mounting a lash adjuster into a lash adjuster mounting hole, securing the assembling performance of the lash adjuster and holding an oil around the lash adjuster even after stopping an engine. SOLUTION: (1) An bleeding groove 30 is formed and a blocking part 31 is formed at the upper end of the lash adjuster 1 for blocking the groove 30. (2) A gasket 32 is provided at the lower part of the lash adjuster 1, extending all over the periphery thereof. (3) A screw 33 is formed on the outer periphery of the lower part of the lash adjuster 1 and a screw 34 is also formed on the inner periphery face of the lash adjuster mounting hole 2, and both screws are threaded to each other.
