PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a backward movement in which a turning body is turned in the inverse direction by a shortage of torque when starting turning toward the upward slope side at a slope place, in a working machine for performing torque-limited turning control for limiting a maximum value of electric motor torque. SOLUTION: When an operation lever 28a of a turning operation part 28 exists in a preset neutral range, position holding control for holding the turning body on the spot is performed by a controller 29, and its spot holding torque generated at this time is stored in the controller 29. At turning starting time, among acceleration torque according to a lever operation quantity and the stored its spot holding torque, larger torque is set as the electric motor torque for acceleration.
