PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support for a safety measure, which has a wide contact area with a building structure, can increase fixing strength to the building structure by preventing much direct load applied to a bolt and has high reliability. SOLUTION: A pair of upper holding brackets 14 projected to the sides are fixed at the lower end section of a support body 12, lower holding brackets 22 projected to the sides are fixed at the lower end section of a lower holding body 20 held by the holding brackets 14 in the vertically movable manner and given a vertical movement by the operation of clamping bolts 29 and flat holding surfaces in which the upper-lower opposed surfaces of the upper holding brackets 14 and the lower holding brackets 22 hold the building structure are formed.
