PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container, which is made of paper to deal with environmental problems and can be assembled easily and certainly, employing one paper material, through a few series of folding operations without using an adhesive. SOLUTION: The paper tray container is assembled by folding one paper material. First, side wall faces 2, 3 formed consecutively with four sides of a quadrilateral bottom face 1 are raised, and then auxiliary side wall faces 4, 5 formed consecutively with the side wall faces 2,3 and folding back edge faces 6, 7, 8, 9 are folded for assembling. Finally, incisions 13 made respectively on the roots of projections 10, 11 formed respectively on the front ends of the folding back edge faces 7 are inserted in cut-outs 12 of side wall faces 3, respectively, to make fixed engagements. Thus, the box-shaped paper tray container with an upper opening, whose upper edge is reinforced to prevent the container from losing its shape, is easily assembled. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
