PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor vehicle sun visor of a simple configuration with excellent adjustment feeling when a sun visor body slides in the axial direction of a spindle. SOLUTION: The motor vehicle sun visor 1 comprises a sun visor body 2, a spindle 3, and a bearing member 5. The sun visor body 2 is turnably fitted around the spindle 3 via the bearing member 5, and slidably fitted in the axial direction of the spindle 3. An oblong hole-shaped accommodation part 6 is formed on an upper edge part of the sun visor body 2. The spindle 3 and the bearing member 5 are accommodated movably in the longitudinal direction of the accommodation part 6. The bearing member 5 integrally includes a bearing part 5a to turnably hold the spindle 3, a turning resistance providing unit 12 which is elastically abutted around the spindle 3, and a slidable-contact member 20 which is brought into slidable contact with a slide groove 16 provided in the longitudinal direction of the accommodation part 6.
