PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide split forming dies by which a recessed and projected part can be formed by using the split die and by which a smooth curved surface with no vertical streaks can be imparted to a can body. SOLUTION: A plurality of split dies 2 are radially arranged around a prescribed center axis line and moved outward in the radial direction, thereby forming the recessed and projected part in the can body 1.
