PURPOSE: A heat-absorbing particle is provided, to obtain a heat-absorbing particle useful for the formation of coating on the surface of a product to prevent the thermal diffusion and/or oxidation. CONSTITUTION: The heat-absorbing particle comprises a shell part(1) and a core part(2) and has a diameter of 1-1,000 micrometers. The shell part(1) comprises a polymer selected from the group consisting of a melamine-formaldehyde resin, a urea-formaldehyde resin, polyurethane and an acryl; and the core part(2) comprises a heat absorbing material selected from the group consisting of a linear alkane, an alcohol and an organic acid and has a melting point of 35-70 deg.C. The weight of the shell part is 1/20 to 1/2 of the weight of the core part. The heat absorbing material comprises further a dye. Preferably the heat absorbing material is selected from the group consisting of paraffin, docosane, tetracosane, tetradecanol, hexadecanol, octadecanol, dodecanoic acid, tetradecanoic acid and hexadecanoic acid. |
