<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain desired power generation performance and obtain effectively small size and simplicity. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell 10 holds a plurality of electrolyte/electrode jointed bodies 56 between separators 58. The electrolyte/electrode jointed bodies 56 are constructed in a small diameter circular shape, and an inner side arrangement layers P1 and an outer circumference side arrangement layer P2 which are respectively arranged in eight pieces concentrically at the circular aperture part 44 are provided.
