<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preparation method of a color profile for printer recording, capable of reducing difference in appearance of a recorded image caused by the difference in the recording condition. <P>SOLUTION: The method is characterized in that a color expressed by at least one of multiple recorded fundamental colors under recording conditions and composed of any ink density is recorded on a recording paper, and an optical density of the recording on the recording paper is measured by an optical measuring means, and a color profile 7 for indicating a corresponding relationship between the optical density of the recording under the recording condition and the ink density during the recording is prepared, according to the measured result. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
