<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article with the excellent touch and excellent liquid permeability and absorbency, capable of preventing the material of the article from being twisted while the article isworn. <P>SOLUTION: This absorbent article 1 has a liquid permeable sheet 5 disposed between a surface sheet 2 and an absorbent material 4. The liquid permeable sheet 5 is made up of a multi-layer structure comprising a first layer 51 located on the absorbent material 4 side and a second layer 52 located on the surface sheet 2 side, and the layers are bonded to each other on the whole surface. The first layer 51 includes fibers curled in the coil shape and the component fibers are thermally fused to form a network structure. Other fibers are taken in the coil of the fibers curled in the coil shape, and because of the other fibers taken in the coil, the capillary force is intensified from the second layer 52 toward the first layer 51. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
