PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition which can easily give the pellets of a 4-methyl-1-pentene-based polymer having a high mol. wt. and is useful for extended molded products. SOLUTION: This resin composition is characterized by adding (B) 0.01 to 0.5 pt. wt. of a hindered phenolic compound and at least one of (D) 0.01 to 0.5 wt. % of a phenol acrylate-based compound, (E) 0.01 to 0.5 wt. % of an alkyl free radical-catching lactone compound, and (F) 0.01 to 0.5 wt. % of a phosphite-based compound to (A) 100 pts. wt. of a 4-methyl-1-pentene-based polymer.
