PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a coil for an electromagnetic expanded tube which can uniformly deform a work at the electromagnetically expanding the tube, and which can manufacture a coil for an electromagnetic expanded the tube without damaging an insulating resin or without deteriorating the resin even if the resin is repeatedly used, and without damaging the resin for covering a conductor strand even if a high-strength material is used for electromagnetically expanding the tube, and a high-deformation material is used therefor. SOLUTION: This is a method for manufacturing a coil for an electromagnetic expanded the tube wound with conductor strands 1 covering the a periphery of an insulating bobbin 9 with an insulator on the bobbin 9. The method includes the steps of first integrally manufacturing the bobbin 9 with the same material, positioning axial centers of both ends of the bobbin 9 by a core mandrel of a lathe, forming the minimum diameter part 10 on which the strands are wound by winding the strands 1 on the minimum diameter part 10, impregnating the periphery with a resin, then again positioning the axes of both ends of the bobbin 9 by the mandrel of the lathe, and removing an unnecessary part of the outer peripheral resin by cutting.
