PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion device capable of establishing stable combustion over the whole area of the combustion amount regulating range while the turndown is enlarged and achieving a low NOx emission. SOLUTION: The combustion device includes a fuel gas jetting part H and an auxiliary oxygen containing gas jetting part S, wherein the fuel gas jetting part H is positioned at the periphery of a secondary oxygen containing gas discharge port 2 and installed in such a condition as located between the primary oxygen containing gas discharge port 1 and the secondary oxygen containing gas discharge port 2 in the discharging direction of the secondary oxygen containing gas and also as jetting the fuel gas G outward so as to form flames F divided in the circumferential direction of the secondary oxygen containing gas discharge port 2 while the auxiliary oxygen containing gas jetting part S is positioned at the periphery of the secondary oxygen containing gas discharge port 2 and installed in such a condition as located between the fuel gas jetting part H and the secondary oxygen containing gas discharge port 2 in the secondary oxygen containing gas discharge direction and as jetting an oxygen containing gas E2 outward so as to spread the flames F outward.
