PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricant supplying body capable of re-supplying lubricating oil and having a lubricating oil supplying ability for a long time, and a linearly moving device having the lubricant supplying body and capable of maintaining stable lubrication for a long time. SOLUTION: This lubricant supplying body is arranged near a lubricating portion, and composed of an outer shell layer and a lubricant holding layer storing the lubricant. According to this lubricant supplying body, an outer shell layer is made of lubricant-containing polymer, and at least one part of the outer shell layer is brought into contact with the lubricating portion. The lubricant holding layer is filled with grease or a needle felt made of re-supplyable synthetic resin fiber absorbing the grease or lubricating oil in a recessed part formed inside the outer shell layer.
