PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a full transistor type engine ignitor to perform kick engine ignition. SOLUTION: An active boosting circuit for performing boosting operation only during low output of a voltage regulator at kick-starting the engine and stopping boosting operation during stead-state operation after starting the engine is connected in parallel between the voltage regulator for receiving a starting current from a kick driving generator and electronic equipment such as an ECU connected thereto.
