PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fence strut capable of preventing the incursion of mortar into a hollow section in the case the strut is erected by putting the lower end cap on the lower end of an aluminum extruding material made-hollow strut of a fence and, at the same time, using the lower end cap in common for a plurality of long and short hollow struts having different strength without changing the size. SOLUTION: While a plurality of long and short hollow struts 10 are extruded in common in a plurality of aluminum extruding materials with different thickness formed in a common-shaped extrusion molding by making outside measurement dimensions as the same ones so that required strength with the relative lengths of the hollow struts 10 can be ensured by varying the thickness of the aluminum extruding material without changing external dimensions, the lower end cap 13 can accept the lower end of each hollow strut 10 having no variation in the dimension to fit it to the lower end cap to enable it to put on the hollow strut 10 so that the single lower end cap 13 can be used in common.
