PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rational composite underground wall of an earth retaining wall and a reinforced concrete wall. SOLUTION: In this composite underground wall 1, the reinforced concrete wall 4 is formed on the front surface side of the earth retaining wall 3 in a superposed manner, and the strength of integration of a core material 2 of the wall 3 with the wall 4 is set according to stress distribution in respective parts of the wall 1. The strength of the integration is set to be greater in a deeper position. The thickness of the wall 4 is set to be greater in the deeper position. The greater a story height and stress caused by earth and water pressure, the thicker the wall is set to be or the greater the strength of the integration is set to be. The strength of the integration in the respective parts is set by a shear key which is provided in the core material 2. The strength of the integration in the respective parts is set by adjusting a pitch of a stud 5 which serves as the shear key. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
