PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure and an outer facing structure of a holding member for holding an external facing material for constructing an external facing surface or a supporting member for supporting the external facing material. SOLUTION: In this mounting structure of a structural member 1 with an upper flange part 11 and the holding member 2 which is erected on the flange part 11, the structural member 1 has the flange part 11 and a vertical piece part 12 which is suspended from the flange part 11; the holding member 2 comprises a mounting part 21 which is equipped with at least one locking part 211, a raised part 22 which is elongated upward from the mounting part 21, and holding parts 23 and 26 on which the supporting material 9 for supporting the external facing material 5 or the external facing structure is to be mounted; and the flange part 11 of the structural member 1 and the mounting part 21 of the holding member 2 are mounted by two means for locking and fixation.
