PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binding implement for a reinforcing bar for a cage and the like, which enables efficient and sure binding. SOLUTION: This binding implement 1 is provided with a fixing member 4 in which a curved part 1a and a locking groove 4a are integrally formed, and the reinforcing bars 2 and 3, which abut on each other and cross each other so as to be orthogonal to each other, are surely bound together by both tip parts 1c for being locked on the other side of one reinforcing bar 2 and a central part 1b for abutting on the reinforcing bar 2. Additionally, the side of an almost U-shaped opening and the curved surface 1a at both the tip parts 1c are utilized so that the binding implement 1 can be easily attached to the crossing part of the reinforcing members 2 and 3, because the binding implement is once locked to the other main reinforcement 3, and so that work for binding the reinforcing bars 2 and 3 is efficiently performed.
