PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shutter locking device which ensures the locking state of a shutter curtain. SOLUTION: The shutter locking device is mounted on a shutter device 1 having slats 6 which form the shutter curtain 5 guided by a pair of mutually opposed guide rails 7. The shutter locking device is formed of engaging pieces 54, engaging portions 8, engaging claws 55, and engaging holes 61. Each engaging piece 54 reciprocatively moves with respect to an edge 6d of the slat 6. Each engaging portion 8 is arranged in the guide rail 7 and engages with the corresponding engaging piece 54 when the engaging piece 54 is protruded outward from the slat edge 6d. Each engaging claw 55 is formed at a base-side end of the engaging piece 54. Each engaging hole 61 is formed in the slat 6 and opposed to the engaging claw 55 when the engaging piece 54 is protruded. Thus when the engaging piece 54 is protruded to engage with the engaging portion 8, i.e. in the locking state, if an external force is applied to the engaging piece 54 in a receding direction, the engaging claw 55 engages with the engaging hole 61, to thereby inhibit receding of the engaging piece 54.
