PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting and transmitting plated product which is equipped with designability, decorativeness, high-grade, and sense of beauty. SOLUTION: The light emitting and transmitting plated product is formed by combining a substrate which at least consists of material having transparency with the plating layer 1 formed on its surface, and the light source member 6 arranged inside the substrate, and while it has metallic luster when turning off the light, when it is lit, the light from the light source member transmits a plating layer, and emits light. As the light source member, preferably, one or more selected from an LED, an electric bulb, a fluorescent light, a liquid crystal display element, EC element, and EL element are used.
