PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make high-speed operation possible and to permit simple changing of the pressurization characteristics of a slide. SOLUTION: A first actuating rod 32 is coupled to a first crank rod 30 rotated by a first servo motor 26 and a second actuating rod 34 coupled to the rod 32 is coupled to the slide 16. The slide 16 is moved rectilinearly back and forth accompanying the vertical movement of the first and second actuating rods 32 and 34 by rotating the first crank rod 30. A third actuating rod 44 which exists alongside the rods 32 and 34 and is coupled to a second crank rod 42 rotated by a second servo motor 38 is coupled to a coupling between the rod 32 and the rod 34. The timing for bending of the coupling between the actuating rods 32 and 34 is varied by rotating the crank rod 42. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
