PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope that can be restored by readjustments and can fully demonstrate its primary function even after repeated use of its flexible adjustment function. SOLUTION: The mechanism of the adjustment is that the relative positional relationship of a coil pipe 39 and a traction wire 41 is adjusted from the outside of an endoscope 1 by moving the position of the operator-side end of the coil pipe 39 in an initial state, axially against the wire 41 that is inserted through inside the coil pipe 39, and moving it relatively against an insertion part 2.
