PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wash basin made to have good drainage and excellent water tightness by forming a periphery of the wash basin into a concave form. SOLUTION: The wash basin 5 is composed of (A) a process of forming an opening part with a diameter slightly larger than the outer diameter of the washing basin 5 to a base material 2, (B) a process of forming a curved surface part 2' by applying a curving process to an upper periphery of the opening of the base material 2, (C) a process of bonding a surface material 1 to a side having the curved surface 2' of the base material 2, and depressing a part of the surface material 1 corresponding to the opening position toward the backside of the opening part, (D) a process of inserting the washing basin 5 into the opening part and attaching a flange part 6 of the washing basin 5 to the back surface of the surface material 1, (E) a process of injecting thermosetting resin 9 between the base material 2 and the flange part 6 to the extent of burying the flange part 6, (F) a process of removing the surface material 1 on the inside of the opening part and finishing the peripheral surface thereof.
