PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting rod for fishing which uses a proper light source with high efficiency and long life. SOLUTION: The battery energized light emitting rod for fishing 20 is provided with a handle 22 having a front end part, a shaft 32 extending from the front end part of the handle 22, an electronic fluorescent lamp 44 fixed on the shaft 44, and a power source which supplies electric power to the fluorescent lamp 44, in a grip 26.
