Reinforcement of a hole (2) in the wall (1) of a fibre-reinforced thermoplastic moulding, is carried out by a new procedure, where pair of bushes (3) is inserted from both sides of the hole, fitting snugly into it. Each has a flange (4) which rests against the wall (1) of the moulding, and when inserted, the ends of the bushes touch each other. The short, fibre-reinforced thermoplastic bushes (3) are welded, both together with each other, and with the moulding. Also claimed is a plastic moulding with hole reinforcement, manufactured as described.
