PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink capable of forming an image of high quality, and an image-forming method and an image-forming device by an inkjet method using the ink.

SOLUTION: The ink comprises a solid component comprising a pigment and a fixing agent and is made to adhere on a recording material having a coating layer on the surface by an inkjet method to form an image, where the concentration m (wt%) of the solid component in the ink is adjusted so that the length L (μm) of one side in the minimum pixel of an image satisfies the relation: L3≤ (-850m+13,000)×V when the volume of the ink is V (pl).
