BGM PLAYBACK SYSTEM, BGM PLAYER USED FOR THE SAME, AND BGM REPRODUCING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a BGM (Back Ground Music) playback system which can control a BGM player depending on circumstances in case of emergency and according to the schedule at the installation destination of the BGM player in spite of the BGM playback system unified by the same program.

SOLUTION: In the BGM playback system 10, the BGM player 16 receiving an E-mail 24 from a data transmitter 14 downloads the contents based on an identifier described in the E-mail 24 from a content server 28 and reproduces the downloaded contents by carrying out the playback program described in the E-mail 24. The BGM player 16 of the BGM playback system 10 is provided with an interruption switch 16a capable of reproducing the arbitrary contents different from the contents assigned by the playback program by interrupting into the contents during the performance of the playback of the contents based on the playback program.
