<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling access to a prescribed space by means of personal hand baggage in which a use of an intermediate repeater is prevented and defects of previous technology are conquered. <P>SOLUTION: The method for controlling the access to the prescribed space by means of personal hand baggage (2) is achieved by a radio transmission of a coded identification signal. In order to implement the method, an electronic apparatus is provided within the space and the hand baggage includes, on the other hand, a processing apparatus (26) connected to signal transmitting means (22, 28) and/or signal receiving means (21, 27). The coded identification signal is transmitted by the transmitting means of the personal hand baggage (2) or a transmitting means provided in the prescribed space. The coded identification signal includes an analog signature intrinsic to a combination formed of the personal hand baggage (2) and the electronic apparatus provided within the space. When the hand baggage is present within a limited zone around the electronic apparatus provided within the space, the signal is received by the receiving means provided within the space or within the hand baggage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
