PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching power supply which is arranged not to work the change of oscillation frequency and slope compensation at the same time. SOLUTION: An IC circuit 10 for switching control includes an oscillator 21 and a slope compensatory circuit 22. In the slope compensating circuit 22, the offset voltage value of a noninverting amplifier circuit amp0 is decided by a constant-voltage source 37. The offset voltage value is set to, for example, 1.2V. The slope compensatory circuit 22 generates a triangular wave which starts at the intermediate point of time in the ON period Ton of a control pulse, and it is superposed on the terminal voltage Vis of a current detecting terminal IS as a slope compensating signal Vsl<SB>-</SB>in1, and it becomes an output voltage signal Vsl<SB>-</SB>out1.
