PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adaptive diversity receiving device for simplifying calculation and reducing a processing amount, simplifying and making the size compact for the structure of the device, without causing degradation of characteristics. SOLUTION: In an i-th antenna system #i, a signal output from a phase synchronizing circuit 2-i is input to an equalizer circuit composed of an adder 5-i and an adaptive filter 6-i. The output from the adder 5-i is input to an adder circuit for synthesizing 41, together with signals from the other antenna series #1 to #1. An output from the adder circuit 41 is input to the adaptive filter 6-i. A receiving signal estimated value is added to the adder 5-i. The adaptive filter 6-i corrects a filter coefficient so that the output power from the adder 5-i becomes small. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
