PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portal system for facilitating the grasp of use situations. SOLUTION: A client terminal 1 and terminals 2 and 3 are connected each other through a network 4. Between the client terminal 1 and a portal server terminal 2, such functions are provided that a login instructing means 13 transmits login information such as an inputted user ID or password, and a display instructing means 14 displays a portal page obtained by transmitting an inputted portal page identifier, and a transmitting/receiving means 15 is provided with each function for transmitting/receiving data through the network. When the portal page is displayed, a reading/non-reading display function for each user corresponding to each portal page and contents is configured.
