PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of easily manufacturing a net body having meshes of different sizes, and to provide an apparatus therefor. SOLUTION: Bends 19 and 21 of a plurality of angle rows 18 and 20 are superposed on each other to form large loops 23 and small loops 22 and these small loops 22 are twisted to form the small meshes and the large meshes. Also, the apparatus for manufacturing the net body comprises installation tables 4 suitably spaced and installed to and from slide plates of a base, rotary plates disposed on both sides of the base, freely vertically movable cross frames 6 installed across the upper parts of the rotary plates, and twisting rods suitably spaced from the cross frame materials and pendently disposed thereto. Locking pins 14 and 15 for locking the angle rows 18 with hooks are erected on the front and rear end sides of the installation tables 4 and the locking pins 14 on at least one side are made freely slidable.
