PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promote a user's health by stimulating meridian points on the soles of the user's feet by walking on a mat spread on an area where the user habitually moves. SOLUTION: This mat comprises a board-like base 3 with a prescribed size and a plurality of projections 3a formed at prescribed intervals on the top surface of the board-like base 3. The upper end of each projection 3a is round, and the projection is made of an elastic material. As the user steps on the projections 3a by foot, the meridian points on the soles are stimulated to improve the blood circulation and promote the health of the user. Further, as the upper end of each projection 3a is round and the projection is made of the elastic material, the user's feet will no be injured or the user will not feel pain if the user steps on the mat barefoot.
