PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooker coated with fluoroplastic on the internal surface of a pot for putting an object to be cooked therein, in which when the pot is heated, a number of fine bubbles are generated on the surface coated with the fluoroplastic to smoothly leave the surface and make sufficient convection of water in the pot for providing tasty rice well cooked and having less unevenly cooked parts. SOLUTION: Temperature of the pot 1 into which the object to be cooked is put is detected by a temperature detection means 3 while the pot is heated by a heating means 2 driven and controlled by a rice-cooking control means 4. The pot 1 is coated with the fluoroplastic on the internal surface and the surface is at least partially roughened to have a surface roughness of 1-10μm. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
