<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To construct a Doppler parameter post-processing system for improving a Doppler ultrasonic image. <P>SOLUTION: This invention discloses a system for ultrasonic imaging, including a comparator for comparing at least one Doppler parameter input to a threshold value to generate a first mask. A spacial filter is coupled to the comparator to produce a second mask, and a classification operator is coupled to the spacial filter to generate a third mask. The classification operator can compare a value of a given pixel with the value of any adjacent pixels, and re-classify any non-majority pixel into the majority value of an adjacent pixel, and further includes a multi-parameter generator for outputting at least one Doppler parameter. The multi-parameter generator has a function relationship based on at least one Doppler parameter input and at least one mask.
