摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To weld leads automatically to welding spots in a photovoltaic cell. <P>SOLUTION: A photovoltaic cell P is transported by a first transporting device 2A to a welding work position, and leads L are transferred by a transferring device 4A to, and placed on, welding spots in the photovoltaic cell P. The leads L on the welding spots in the photovoltaic cell P are pressed by probe pins 53 of a first pressing device 5A, hot blast is supplied to the leads L from the heater 62 of a first hot blast device 6A for melting solder, and the leads L are welded to the photovoltaic cell P. The width of the toothed belt 21 of the first transporting device 2A is set to be smaller than the width of the photovoltaic cell P, so that, at the welding work position, the right and left end sections of the photovoltaic cell P which include the welding spots for the leads L protrude from the right and left edges of the toothed belt 21 and are supported by a heat control block 71 of a first supporting device 7A. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p>
