<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof panel mounting structure which makes inconspicuous a step formed at a joint portion between an upper-stage roof panel and a lower-stage roof panel, thereby improving the appearance of the roof panel mounting structure, and reduces the number of component parts forming the joint portion, thereby enabling inexpensive and easy construction of the roof panel mounting structure. <P>SOLUTION: The roof panel mounting structure has an insertion space 31 defined by an eaves-side end of the upper-stage roof panel 3, 5 and a roof surface 1, and a ridge-side end of the lower-stage roof panel 5 is inserted into the insertion space 31. The roof panel mounting structure comprises a blocking member 43 which blocks a gap between the eaves-side end of the upper-stage roof panel 3, 5 and the ridge-side end of the lower-stage roof panel 3, 5 inserted into the insertion space 31, on the eaves side of the roof panel. The blocking member 43 consists of an upper engaging piece 44 for engaging with the eaves-side end of the roof panel 3, 5, a lower engaging piece 45 for engaging with the ridge-side end of the lower-stage panel 3, 5 and a blocking wall 46 for blocking the gap by connecting the upper and lower engaging pieces 44, 45 together. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
