<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control system and a method for the network of electrical household appliances. <P>SOLUTION: The system is configured by including the cable/wireless Internet 200, a home server 300 for controlling and managing a home network which is connected to the Internet and to which a plurality of electrical household appliances, and a central portal server 100 for exchanging data with the home server by updating the existing IP address into changed IP address for managing the home server each time the IP address received for using the Internet by the home server is changed.
